You will install and maintain the electrical system of the manufacturing center to provide power for machines, equipment, lighting, facilities and other apparatus and gear in accordance with engineering specification, codes, regulations and safety requirements utilizing recognized and standardized methods, procedural skills and techniques as may be acquired by formal training courses and considerable experience.
Install and wire control panels, distribution centers and lead-in circuits, machines tool controls and switches, miscellaneous control and timing devices, lighting systems, safety light curtains, etc., in accordance with specifications, schematic drawings and/or detailed instructions.
Diagnose, isolate and repair electrical troubles to include largely the replacement and adjustment of components, integral units, motors, controls, standard devices and gear.
Make emergency repairs when necessary to offset excessive downtime and production delays.
Observe and comply with safety precautions, utilizing extreme care on troubleshooting and repairs when high voltages are involved.
Use appropriate test instruments, gear and equipment to test and insure compatibility and safety of all circuits, components, switches, controls, etc., to assure performance quality and operation.
This person may also be required to assist other maintenance personnel when called upon.
This person must have good communication skills and be capable to complete reports.

Equipment problem solving
Ability to program, Program Logic Controls (PLCs), Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) and other level one machine control devices
Knowledge of electrical systems technology that will result is systems being upgraded as needed Knowledge of safety protocol such a lock out tag out and safe electrical work practices
Key Responsibilities: You will troubleshoot basic mechanical problems in an efficient and safe manner throughout the facility. This position is responsible for primarily preventative and mechanical maintenance and must possess basic knowledge of machine repair. A successful candidate is self-motivated problem-solver that utilizes a strong work ethic to ensure all quality levels are met.
Complete mechanical repairs and makes adjustments as needed.
Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery as assigned.
Successfully troubleshoot mechanical problems.
Complete welding and fabrication tasks with little direction.
Accountable for entering data into maintenance system timely and accurately.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Perform basic electricity in order to work in maintenance field safely.

Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC’s and plumbing
Basic mechanical, welding and cutting skills
Should be capable of reading mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic prints
Good problem solving skills, safety practices and attention to quality
Have basic workbench and computer skills.
Minimal amount of electrical knowledge
Meter usage and ability to complete basic measurements
Basic math skills
1 year of manufacturing plant experience
May require CPR and first aid training
Lockout/tagout, fall protection, PPE, confined spaced training WI basic safety training
Complete knowledge of standard operating procedures
